The Importance of Gathering: How Southern with a French Twist Makes It Effortless
This situation reminded me why I started Southern with a French Twist. As a frequent hostess, I often hear friends say, “I wish I could make it look so effortless like you do,” “My house is a mess,” “I don’t have enough space,” “I can’t/don’t like to cook,” or “I don’t have time.” These reasons often prevent people from hosting gatherings, leading to a lack of community in our busy lives.
